Skin Type: Acne-Prone, Combination-Dry
Initially I thought the peeling gel was pretty good because it exfoliated my skin without drying it out and causing peeling (which usually happens to me for a lot of other products). However, despite twice-a-week exfoliations, there really wasn't much improvement to the texture of my skin.
Those looking to get rid of stubborn blackheads, seriously, this is quite a disappointment. :(
Furthermore, after a month of using it, it started to seriously dry my skin out to the point where just putting the gel on my face would dry my skin out so much that I'd just start flaking all over and no amount of Clarins moisturizer could save it.
It didn't work for me, personally TFS' Pearl Peeling Gel has about the same effect but doesn't dry out my skin. :/ I later switched over to a more well known brand and my skin is so much better than its ever been. Glowy and radiant and my scars are fading. <3 St Ives Apricot Invigorating Scrub

It worked fine for the first few tries, could see a slight decrease in blackheads. But with continued usage, the effect remained the same, no more blackheads were reduced, it's effect was stagnant. Pleasant smell though.
Personally, my skin didn't really respond well to this gel. I didn't see any tightening of pores or anything.
Pros: It does go on very lightweight and sinks into your skin quickly without leaving residue. But for those looking for something more moisturizing, this gel is not moisturizing enough to replace your daily/nightly moisturizing regime.
Cons: It was okay, but once again for SGD$59, I didn't see any improvement on my skin. It was kind of like a placebo effect. :( Maybe I'm trying all the wrong products.

This is good for people who doesn't want something to tighten your skin too much. won't you be afraid of getting wrinkles when you are old? Babyangs is mild, yet it helps to keep ur pimples at bay. so no more pimples. say bye to them! but have to use religiously to see the effect. worth it. =D

Personally, I was never a big fan of sunblocks, BB cream etc. Basically, anything to do with slapping on an extra layer on my already oily skin was a no-go for me. Mainly because those products tend to weigh on my skin, making it feel more oily than it already is.
That was before I tried this Lotus No Makeup Face Blemish Balm though. I shall not have to go into how good it is for the skin. All I have to say is that, this cream serves not one, but three AWESOME functions for me.
1) Its got the Sunblock function. 2) For the fair skinned, this is a pretty good light-weight concealer. 3) As a pre-foundation/2-way cake layer, it reduces the need to slap on such a thick layer of foundation/2-way cake powder before any makeup.
Coming from one who's really averse to using extra facial products other than your regular cleanser/toner and the occasional moisturiser, I laud this cream as a Must Use. (:

Hey babe (:
I don't think this cream has an oil control function per se. Nonetheless, its not oily, so in a way, it helps because it doesn't add on the the sebum secreted by the skin. (:
You can use this as a base, then slap on very light foundation (I use Maybelline's Angelfit), you're good to go. (:
Personally, when I use this, my skin doesn't really get very oily until quite a while later. (:
cresson gel

When I tried using the cresson gel sample for the first time, its texture is different from the other peeling gel I normally used. It melts away and got absorb into the skin like water. Then i will massage it gently and there will be bits of white skin being massage out. I also realized that after washing away the gel and dead skin, I could gently extract my deeply embedded blackheads with a metal extractor, which my other peeling gel does not do as promised.
But to save a bit more on the gel, I wash my face with a cleanser before using it as it also absorb dirt. Thus by washing with a cleanser first, i reduce the need to apply more cresson to get rid of my facial dirt. ^^
I will use a toner and a good moisturizer after using cresson. Moisturizing is important, because i find it a bit drying at times. So it is not a product which could be use frequently.
