The Pain got to be unbearable

Back in 1994 I was rear ended by two cars who didn't want to stop at the red light I was stopped at. There was some painful and numbing damaging done to my left leg and side of my lower back and hip area. Back then they wanted to simply cut the nerve to remove the pain, but I didn't see how that would resolve much. So I said no to the surgery
