While doing some tidying up in my LJ I found some entries of book critiques. I may have to take this up again, it was nice reading about books that I had enjoyed and not enjoyed, and to see a record of what I had read.

I started using www.goodreads.com to log which books I've read, it's easier than keeping a list which I'd never keep up to date!

That looks a good site, worth giving it a try. I read a lot of very old books (pre WWII) so they may not be on there!!

It uses Amazon and Barnes and Noble to find books, so it's worth a try! Track me down if you do use it, as you can 'friend' people.
