I will be in San Diego this weekend!

I'd love suggestions of things I should do there!  So far, I have Goldilocks Bakery and the zoo!  Why can't it be Friday already?

also forgot to mention to check out the Gaslamp or Gaslight district...its downtown. Downtown is really nice.

there's this awesome dessert shop (Extraordinary Desserts or something of the sort). Its got a coffee shop type thing and the food is AMAZING...of course it is all sweets. The door to get in is pretty cool. Let's see what else...Fancy dinner place downtown is Greystone's. We asked 3 cab drivers what a good steak place is and that's where they sent us, but don't get the Kobe unless you want to pay $80. Everything else was reasonable. Y La Jolla beach for the beach. Scripps Pier for a pier...yeah..I *heart* San Diego

Aww, I wish I had suggestions. I have been there 2 years in a row but I was too busy being a nerd. If you go to Point Loma, you can see pelicans diving from a great height, and you can hear barking sea lions. But, I bet you could see that anywhere. If you see large groups of nerds running around, it's probably from the underwater robotics competition b/c it's going on this week. I'm le' jealous! Have fun!

I am so excited. Too bad I work 13+ hour days plus a 1.2 hour commute back and forth from work. :( I don't have any time to pack.
