Last week...

Today marks my last week at work. Somewhere between yesterday and today, I've reached The Point. You know, that point where I don't want to do this anymore. I can't say I'm ready for the baby, but I'm ready not to be pregnant. I dropped a peanut on the floor last night, and it took me like an hour to pick it up again ( Read more... )

It sounds like you're ready. Good thing the C-Section is scheduled for next week. And I'm guessing work is going to let you slide this week. :)

Wow, the boy is into it with a paper, huh? I hope he comes out on top! Conflict can be good...right? I'll be thinking of him and sending some good thoughts his way.

I keep updated on everyone's lj but changing the settings so when they update their journal, I get an email. There's a link in the email to the new post. Most of the time, I just have log in. I can't remember how I did that, but it's somewhere. I can look and let you kno.

Okay, figured it out. You go to http://www.livejournal.com/manage/subscriptions/ and you can actually get notifications for the journals on your friends list emailed to you. You have to do this friend by friend, but it's a nice way to be alerted to those journals you really want to keep up with versus the nice to haves. :)

Oh, that's not my problem. My problem is that it doesn't let me view the pages. Every time I click on a friends page, it logs me out so I can only view the public posts as a visitor. It's really annoying. I think I'm ok managing my own though.

Love the muppet icon! I don't want to be alerted every time a friend updates truthfully. I check every day at work. I like it with MySpace because I never check that, but I check LJ more often so I don't need the feature as much.

I'm in email more than I'm anywhere else these days so I like knowing there are updates. Everyone has a different way of wanting to find out what's going on. I figure for me it's easier to have it all come to me then I can pick and choose what I view or respond to. Hehehe.

I like the muppets icon, too! I stole it from someone on my local Browncoats bb. It has fun energy, don't you think?

I do get e-mails from LJ when someone replies to a comment or post. I just don't check my personal e-mail often unless I'm home. It helps, I guess, but it's not a feature I rely upon.
