Well, I've decided to do the career counseling anyway. Paul talked to his Dad about it, and he said he didn't think it was too expensive for all the stuff they do for you. He also said that they don't do job placement, but that they have tons of contacts in the community and they help you there if they can. It's just not part of the service,

I'm sorry the job thing isn't going too well. I kept reading about the abuse that you endured at your last gig, and it literally made me speechless. I'm sorry you had to go through that.
One suggestion I have is that you could apply to the board of education to be a substitute teacher. I don't even live remotely near Louisville anymore, but they still call me and offer me jobs. The pay is decent, and you can pretty much decide each day whether you want to go in or not. The training is minimal, but it takes awhile to get into the system, because they always do a background check on the applicants. It's a really good in-between job to do while you figure out what you want to do. If you want, I can give you the info about whom to call, etc.
