Likes (material): So I'm going to cheat here. I like... anything with color, vibrancy, life. I hate dull people and dull moments. Right now, I'm stuck at home because I don't have a driver's license and I'm missing out on the world! And thus, I disgust myself because I'm not living up to the independent standards I set for everyone else. Desire, and passion--a wish to be the best one can be...that's what I like. And whatever that emotion applies to, whether it be the crashing waves of the ocean and the beautifully shining and fading rays of the sun over a beautiful sunset, or a little kid who has just learned to read.
If I must, I also really like books, art, strawberry pocky, cherries, broccoli, and meat. And being right. ;)
Dislikes (material): Again, I feel I must elaborate beyond simple materials. In regards to that, I hate insects. I hate squishy things. I hate hair stuck in the drain.
However, I also hate apathy, I hate ignorance. I so dislike individuals who form an unyielding opinion that is so strong that you cannot talk to them for fear of pushing one nerve too many. If you are that intolerant, you are missing out on so many opportunities for conversation! I truly dislike closemindedness. It escapes me how narrow-minded some people can be.
I also dislike the fact that many people think I am shy or "in a shell" because I don't enjoy screaming, going to parties every night, or taking pictures of myself in which I make stupid faces. I'm not at all introverted. I just don't feel comfortable making -that- kind of a spectacle of myself. And trust me, I like making spectacles of myself- there is a reason whyI get called crazy and insane! :)

What time period would you rule in?: I would like to rule during the Renaissance time period.

Which monarch (mythical or real) do you most admire (in terms of political ability, court life, looks, etc)?:
Political Ability: Sondok and Elizabeth I. Kickass, anyone? These ladies were rocking! They didn't take crap from ANYBODY. And they both posessed religious tolerance and a love for the arts. Trés magnifique, if you ask me.
Court Life: Again, I'm going to have to go with Elizabeth I, but Akbar as well. They had such vibrant courts-such great art!
Looks: So this is totally subjective, but I think Arwen, Guinevere, Elisabeth, and Helen of Troy were quite beautiful.
Describe your court and your wardrobe: My court would be filled with musicians, artists, scientists, astronomers, playwrights...ooh, the possibilities!
As for my wardrobe...I am not going to deny that I like fancy clothing. I would probably be dressed in the latest fashions, but I would not be so frivolous that my subjects would hate me for wasting their money to fulfill my sumptuous desires.
Describe your prince (or princess!): My prince would have to have a sense of humor and a calm demeanor in the face of crisis. He needs to be respectful and understanding of all social classes. And--he has to know how to dance! And dance well. I'm all for the dashing prince, as long as Mr. Casanova doesn't mess around every time I'm not available. He can flirt all he wants...but at the end of the day, it better be my bedchamber he comes to.
Which comes first: your prince or your ladies-in-waiting?: Prince. There is always a chance that my liw have an agenda. I would give top priority to my significant other. We would know each other the best, trust each other the most--it's a lifelong relationships. LIW, on the other hand, may be ephemeral.
How do you view/feel about love?: I guess it will happen sometime. It's not really a top priority for me right now...I suppose romantic love will happen for me when the time comes.
