Have started the actually quilting part of the baby quilt, my fingers are full of tiny needle holes and the stitching is decidely uneven and wonky but perhaps that is part of the charm of a handmade quilt.

You'll be seeing it at it's best too.. full of 10-15 screaming 8 year olds and a bunch of pirates!!

Melodies' pirate themed birthday party is 10-12noon that day. All the pirates are coming to help. We have a cunning plan to inspire all the other parents to do pirate parties for their little darlings so we have more money for STUFF!

Oh, and the fact Melodie has wanted a pirate party for ages played a small part, too.
