I might never finish Protection. I'm feeling pretty uninspired and sorry for myself right now. Just in case you were wondering.

So...settle in folks, it's going to be a bumpy ride to the next chapter. Possibly an endless, stalled on scene one ride.

writer's block is no fun. have you tried writing it out of order?

somewhat...but I don't know how much will fit in this chapter...so I'm afraid to go too far ahead. I've tried to get out of that habit because I had to through out 70+ pages of this story early on b/c I wrote a bunch out of order and then changed my plot direction.

oh no....you can do this...you have many loyal fans who will wait until your muse returns.

protection is such a strong/consuming story that evokes very strong feelings. i am reading stories and of course have read quite a few prior and often forget the plot/characters and find myself having to re-read. but then you come along a story that just sticks with you and it isn't possible to forget the plot nor the characters. well, protection is this kind of story. i mean i can still feel how i felt when harry and ginny finally got to be together. everything they have been through, getting their memories back, the anger, their love....the hot sex. the morning after in the bathroom! momma mia. whew. what will happen to them next? see! it is consuming...and all this from memory months ago. you can do this!!!! :) i will send you all the good vibes i got available.

You're sweet, mon. thank you. I realize they should have just stayed in bed and had more sex. What was I thinking with this whole...getting up and going somewhere idea. Dumb dumb dumb. :-D

You can do it, you have great story and are a great writer. Just take a deep breath, go out and do something you enjoy and try to get your mind off the story and then go back and make a list of what you want in this chapter and what can wait for a later date.

There is swine flu everywhere, so I think I'm stuck inside, lol. It's probably for the best though. It will force me to focus. I know what I want...it just apparently isn't coming through with what I've written so far...so I'm going back to try again. :)
