The very basis of any anti-abortion movement is religious. Lets assume that 'morals' have nothing to do with religion (big assumption but bear with me). What would be the moral dilema for killing a human being? Is it that the human being would suffer in such a way that we ourselves would not want to suffer? That is precicely it.. as a society we fear death and sympothize when met with the possibility that someone else will 'fear' death. This idea is only vaguely seen in animals. The majority of society can over look an animal being instantly killed for a variety of reasons. However, that same member of society would feel shocked to see the same animal wimpering for its life or holding on to its last breath. We sympothize with those who fear death
