It's been literally years since I updated. I don't seem to be inspired much these days to write. I am not sure if I have become more boring in life or if things have slowly stopped being exciting enough to write about. With university in the past it is true that I am no longer exposed daily to a hundred people all with fascinating back stories

Just happened across your journal but wanted to say a few words after reading this post.

Don't ever give up on your novel. It will come out in bits and pieces, slowly but surely, if you write it down in sections. Consider trying Nanowrimo next year, and watch just how little bits and pieces of your story fit into it. Not all of it, but some of it. Keep your notebook around you. If the story is within you, it WILL get written, just make sure you give it time to get written out. :)
