we cant even function; we're not in a band

i am so tired of doing poorly in school. i am a smart girl, however today [this whole school yr, really] it has been abundently clear to me i am not as intelligent as i once thought myself to be. four, count them, four tests/quizzes today. it sucked so hard. i am so worried. not only about my grades, but about how im going to perform in ( Read more... )

I can relate.
if you're like me, you probably are very smart, but find traditional school environments stifling. something like that.
school hardly measures intelligence. the students with really good grades are just unusually motivated.

I got a D in precalc and decided that I needed to suck it up and drop the class. As I reasoned later, English majors don't need math =)

I used to be smart, too. I still pull all A's.
well, besides physics.
But, school is just a waste of time.
Don't feel bad.
If you aren't doing great in school that probably means you have an ounce or two of creativity left in your soul.
Because the people that have 135748917's in each class are dull, anyways.
