Fabulous Chelley! That was so sad for Damon though.. I was wondering if he was aware she'd been compelled that he acted like they didn't have a history together.. She was able to get through the compulsion and go back to Mystic Falls.. Hopefully something will trigger or be a catalyst for her mind to break through the curtain that Stefan placed there.
A great start to the story... I hooked already...Have a wonderful day!

I really like this idea... From the sounds of it, Damon knows she's unaware of who he is... though I'm a little confused as to why he accepted it and let her stay away if he knew she was compelled... maybe he figured she -would- have a better life without him/vampires/witches etc around, and she'd be safe... granted thats just silly Damon-y thoughts... lol, looking forward to seeing where you take this story! great start so far!

Excellent start. And did I read that right, Stefan is the reason Elena doesn't remember and feels so empty? I can't wait for her to get her memory back and do something about Damon's loneliness.
