Hey all,

Please keep the Kadel family in your thoughts/prayers. Mrs. Kadel is the teacher I've been subbing for the past two weeks. Her husband was very sick and passed away this morning. Both of them are very loved in the school community. His death is going to devastate the students. I think his funeral is on Monday morning.

That's really awful. When you said he was really sick, I didn't realize you meant "could die." Are the kids going to the funeral?

No they aren't. I think that they SHOULD go, but the principal and my mom don't think it's a good idea. They made an announcement over the PA system on Friday and a couple of the students started to sob. They've talked to the guidance counselor about it and we will talk more about it when on Monday. Mrs. Kadel wants to make sure the kids know that their prayers still worked and that he's not sick anymore.
