Anita does rock atlhough I think that she's leaning way too much into the sex and all that. I think that's been happening now for what? The last four books or so. I understand about the ardeur and all, but does she write out the sex scenes and all that so graphically? It's like the books are now 90% sex and 10% action. It's like Chapter One... someone dies. Chapters Two through Twenty-Two... sex. Chapter Twenty-Three... didn't someone die?
And you know... I really don't know where in Arkansas my family is from. I know that my grandmother's mother still lives there. I just remember growing up around them talking about Arkansas and all the men in my dad's family wearing Arkansas Razorbacks t-shirts (I think they have a giant red warthog on them or something.)
I've got to agree. The sex part is getting way out of hand to me. I understand sex is needed in these books because of the ardeur, but why can't there be things other than sex included in the books? The difference between the first of the series and now is horrible to me. I'm still an Anita fan and still an LKH fan, but I'm not pushing them to my friends nearly as much as I used to... They'll think I'm some sex-crazed person or something! Ha!
A red warthog?! :) I've never heard razorbacks described as that. I see your point though. Arkansas isn't as bad as it is made out to be, but I plan on living somewhere else whenever I graduate college.
