You know what, Odi? I know you feel bad because, heck, you're human and I would too. But seriously, if you're on a busy street and you've got your dog on a leash but neglect to hold on to it, then it's not your fault he ran into the middle of the road: it's his owner's. So hopefully the dog just shook it off - try to do the same, okay? *hug*
thanx michal. i promise i've been trying. my boss said i had post traumatic stress, and that it's important for me to talk about it and my feelings and just let it out - so i have been... i think part of what's eating me is that greg's family "lets" her hold her own leash during some walks. :(
Aw. I'm sorry you had to go through that, Odi. I hope you aren't too shaken and I hope the dog will be ok. Things happen on the road and it's one of the unfortunate risks of driving. But, if anything, that's completely irresponsible dog ownership. Who doesn't hang on to their dog on Byrne Road?! I'm sorry that both you and the dog are the ones who have to deal with someone else's poor judgment. *hugs*
thanx rachee. i'm okay. just going through a little post truamatic stress. i think it's cause a) i feel guilty for not running up the hill to find the dog and its owner, b) greg's family "lets" their dog hold her own leash while walking (so i see her every time i try not to think about it).
