[Standing on a high rooftop overlooking the city of Discedo, Rika held out her phone, clicking through and checking all the posts from those that came from the original Discedo. If she couldn't contact them or was unclear about their current state, she would ask for Hanyuu to check on them in her transparent form.
They were all dead. Some of the deaths were done by staining her hands. But as long as she believed it was a fake dream world, then she couldn't feel any sympathy for most of them.
Now it was just Hanyuu, Cecil, and herself. One more step and she would return to the former world.
She called out towards the sky, though she was really only calling out to Hanyuu.]
...Hanyuu. We're almost ready.
[She took a step forward.]
Cecil?
[It's been a while since Cecil--no, Yuca--found himself responsible for a ton of deaths. The fact that they weren't coming back here, that he would no longer be Ys Cordelian the child of a workaholic, was just an almost liberating thought.
The rest were gone. Only the two of them were left.
Cecil pushed the hair from his eyes as he turned to face Rika.]
I'm here.
[She tossed her phone aside and held up the pistol in her other hand, waving it around lazily.]
I... I hate using this. At least I don't have to aim properly when shooting myself.
[During the murders, she had been holding back all her emotions to carry it out, but now she was starting to show a sad expression.]
You have to go before me though.
[She looked sad. It was an odd look, especially since she knew this was happening, but of course, she was emotional. Rika genuinely cared, despite all of the oddities.
And even though Yuca didn't care about them, he cared enough about her to take her hand. After all, she wasn't alone in this. And they would wake up to the same Discedo they left.]
We'll go together.
[At first, she looked a bit taken aback. Nodding her head, she put on a halfhearted smile and gave his hand a squeeze.]
Yeah. [There was a click of her pistol and she raised it, pointing it at the side of her head. She closed her eyes.]
...When I wake up, I'll see you and all my friends.
We should have a nice dinner when we go back.
[Not that he cared for the food, but it might feel more like a celebration. He even considered sitting through it, even if Hanyuu and Satoko were there. It was a pleasant thought, anyway.
Cecil raised his own gun, his hand tightening around Rika's.]
Shall I count us down?
That sounds like a great idea.
[As nice as they could get that dinner to be in the rundown version of Discedo. Though they wouldn't get the same luxuries as the more lively Discedo, she still preferred the former world.]
Mm. Start it.
Then we should. See you soon, Furude Rika.
[And with that, he clicks his own gun's safety off, placing the barrel right against his temple. It reminded him of a time, hundreds and hundreds of years ago... except Rain hadn't joined him...
Rika...
No. No hesitation.]
Three... two...
One!
[And with an echoing of explosions rattling their brains, two bodies fell as two souls plunged into darkness, only to awaken in the broken-down world they called home.]
[ooc: Normal text is Rika. Red text is Yuca/Ys/Cecil. After Rika and Yuca's death, Hanyuu's powers have brought everyone back to the original Discedo. This post marks the end of the event. Everyone should be waking back up in the original version of Discedo by now. I will put up the OOC announcement in just a moment!]
