i've been reading an article about how societal 'scripts' have produced the misconceived notion that 'date rape' isn't rape. because women are meant to be nice and pure-- never sexually forward, and men are meant to be the one more interested in sexual pleasure men have been given the role of 'predator' and women 'prey'. giving way to the saying '

i'm actually almost positive i've only played that role with boys i was already involved with and trusted. i'm not counting simple flirting techniques, since they rarely lead directly to sex.
