Matt and I attended a Marriage Enrichment retreat this weekend at Epworth by the Sea in St Simons Island, GA. So I already have one job offer and plan to start working for a Real Estate law firm the first of February but I got a call from another law firm last week wanting to interview me and I figure why not. We spent New Years Eve with the Schapers and the Bertmeyers (who had to leave early but we enjoyed the time they did get to spend with us) playing games and eating some tasty snacks. At midnight Matt and Lowell decided to go out front and try and blow themselfs (and the neighbors house) up with rockets and set off the car alarm in the process. ( Read more... )

Yesterday Matt and I went to see the Navy Midshipmen vs. Boston College Eagles game in Charlotte, NC. We got tickets for $10 each through the MWR which included the transportion and a tail gate party. The tickets were pretty good seats (not as good as the one I got Matt last time we went to watch the Navy play but still really good for the $10). ( Read more... )

Well one of the jobs I applied for anyways. Its a legal assistant job for a local real estate law firm. The only bad thing is the job doesn't start until February 2nd, oh well if I don't hear back from any of the other companies that I applied for before then I guess I can always work at like subway or something for a month.
