we went to michigan last weekend for a huge friends and family baby shower. it was basically a nice big 60-person catered picnic in my mom's beautiful garden. it was so much fun!

my parents were in town two weeks ago. it was a super short visit and we did a lot so it flew by. we had some good meals at pinnochio in north beach, fellini in berkeley, mifune in japantown (they stayed at the kabuki hotel in japantown) and most notably, at millennium! we opted for the farmer's market prix fixe menu, which was entitled "dirt ( Read more... )
