His eyes fluttered open, slowly, and for a moment he took in the sights and sounds around him. He was lying on a beach...he could feel the sand beneath him and see it clinging to his fingers, he could hear the sound of the waves slowly rolling up onto the shore. He pushed himself slightly up on his arm, holding his free hand to his head. His head felt...empty. Vaguely he had the feeling that this was wrong, but it didn't bother him enough to matter.

Narrowed eyes scanned the shoreline for sight of anyone else...but there didn't appear to be anyone nearby...Feeling an irritating tug of concern for the stranger, he started to walk over to the person to see if they were alive. He was getting somewhat close (and was becoming increasingly aware of the fact that they lacked clothes) when all of a sudden...the body moved, halting his feet and causing him to watch as the boy slowly sat up.

And promptly fell back to the sand. It felt weird to stand on feet, for some reason. Balancing didn't seem to come naturally. Was that normal?
