I had an idea last night while I was at work and thought it might be a cool way to play with Sarah's cheesy Fandom High-based romance novel ...
I was planning on throwing something together on Sunday and showing a peek over Sarah's shoulder of Chapter One of the romance novel in Monday's study hall. Nothing huge or anything -- the picture in my head of the thing is VERY rough with lots of stuff scratched out and really bad writing. (You know that saying about being a lover, not a fighter? Assuming the reverse is true ... well, Sarah is a fighter. ;)) Then I figured I could just toss up the occasional bit and piece here and there. Nothing to make too much of a dent in my writing time, but still. *eg*
But last night, I thought that it might be more fun if more people got involved, in a way -- as in, after Sarah has most of it written, she ... well, loses it. Every single chapter but the first one.
What I was thinking of was a Fandom High version of Telephone, sort of. Students and faculty (whoever wants to) find handwritten chunks of this crappy bodiceripper all over the damn school. I figure there'd have to be some sort of order to it, so that every part of the story that was found by people went in order. And yeah, it'd probably be cool to plan everything out, but then again, it might be more fun to just make a list of who gets to write when and everybody just have to deal with whatever the last bastard wrote. ;)
And the great thing is Sarah never showed anyone the story or told them she was writing a romance novel, so everybody can diss the hell out of the thing and she just has to sit there and put up with it. *evil giggle*
So, what do you guys think? Too much?
