Last week I went to the city of Bologna, one region away in Emilia-Romagna. I was originally expecting good spaghetti al ragù and porticos, but what I got was a city. Not a huge city, mind you, but a city nonetheless. Bologna has an H&M and a Niketown; just this makes it a step up from Florence ( Read more... )

Also, correction:
***It was Princess ALEXANDRA of Denmark who we saw in the passing car, not Mary as previously thought. My mom confirmed this when she pointed out Alexandra in a photo of the Danish royal family.***
