Yesterday was a fun day. I spent the afternoon with my friend Emily, who goes to school at Mary Washington in Virginia. We met in Florence, where we both gave tours of Santa Maria Novella. Me and my uterus have more civil rights/representation here than they did in Italy. Maybe European countries can learn a few things from us?

In Europe, people get charged five cents or more per plastic bag, which encourages reusing of bags or bringing one's own reusable bag.

What kind of shitty ass country were you living in? I never got charged for bags in France.
