here's a few quick updates. I work full time at a Starbucks now. i love the job by the way. Plus I'm about to turn 24 on Saturday. I'm having a big luau/tropical party at my place. I'm so excited about it. Also, my sister had broken up with her boyfriend of 4 years several months ago, and he'd been driving her nuts since. He's finally leaving her ( Read more... ) -
Specific Things I'm Thankful For
- Lynnea being my best friend and how we can talk on the phone for hours everyday even though we live on total opposite sides of the country
- My sister being another of my best friends because that is so rare at this age
- Being back in touch with Kathryn finally! Seriously, good things come to those who wait

I'm working on my family tree on facebook. I love the idea of it cause maybe it can help me find my only living first cousin again. Plus, we know very little about my dad's side of the family and maybe I can find out more this way. Also, maybe I can find some of my step-family and my great aunt's family on there. I'm finally feeling a ton better even though I know the annoying cough will be sticking around for another month or so. Tonight I went and exchanged my "loaner" laptop for my actual one since it's fixed finally. Then I went and met Justin at Carmax to drop off my car since it needs a windshield wiper motor replaced which is covered by the warranty ( Read more... ) -

Well, my flu is fully over, but I'm not expecting my bronchitis symptoms to go away for quite awhile. It really wouldn't be too bad if the weather wasn't so shitty in Indiana. I'm ready for spring. Well, I am back in Indy finally, only on my way back I came down with the flu and it has now turned into Bronchitis. Worst of all, I gave my flu to my mom before I left and Justin when I got home. Oops. Plus it's like 5 degrees (ok, really it's 27, but still, it's cold!) in Indianapolis, so I can't go outside without losing the ability to breathe. ( Read more... ) -
Frustrating
Most people don't know that I had more than one reason for coming home, but I'm quickly realizing that "my friend since 7th grade, her father died so I came home for 2 weeks" doesn't completely make sense. Especially since she is in Florida trying to move her stuff home all this week and last most people knew I was enrolled in 5 classes, etc, etc. ( Read more... ) -

Well, I got news recently that a close friend's father had passed away. I asked when the funeral was and then called my mom to let her know I would be flying home to which she replied "you should check with her first if you're supposed to go or not". I had never even stopped to wonder if Jewish funeral customs were different from Christian ones. ( Read more... ) -
how long has it been?
Wow, I haven't written in this thing in over 2 months. I think that's the longest I've ever gone! I guess I just got busy. The last month of school was crazy and then I went home for Christmas for two weeks. I've been having a life these days too, which is new.
