How do I tell him I like him without getting him scared? I know he doesn't like me back, but what the heck!!! I hate me for this :-(

There is never a good way. I still cringe at some of the rejections I've received in the past. Just go for it, and if he rejects you, well then he missed out so screw him!!

Well, yeah... but the problem is that he is my best friend, and I don't want to lose him :-(
