Waco

I just finished watching "Waco:The Rules of Engagement". I have not felt this passionately about a movie in I don't know how long. I was a senior in high school when Waco took place, and to be honest, I didn't know anything about it. This movie has made me so ashamed of an administration I voted for and a government I trusted. I remember the Waco tragedy vividly. This event, plus others that lent to it, such as the Ruby Ridge Massacre, the lies about Sudan, Rwanda and Bosnia, solidified my total dislike of any politician associated with the Clinton Administration, and my absolute distrust of law enforcement agencies.

The whole mess affected me so deeply that I was confused about how to feel about the whole McVeigh/Oklahoma City tragedy. On the one hand I felt absolutely horrible about the [civilian and children] deathtoll, but I had no empathy for the federal agents that died.
