Harry had grudgingly left the Common Room at Mellie's insistence. He'd been playing a game of Gobstones with Seamus and Dean. That was how a Saturday should be spent, really. Enjoying oneself. She knew that he hadn't been studying at all for NEWTs, however, and forced him along to the library, taking his spot in the game. Harry was wondering where Ron was, as his redheaded friend had disappeared after lunch to "do something." He figured that it was very possible that Ron was with Hermione, at least, and that he'd have a partner in the torture. He was sure that Hermione was enjoying herself with all the studying, somehow

Whom Hermione had looked up at and greeted was none other than Harry. Her heart leaped with joy. At last! He was in the library! And, by far, it was about time! But Harry had a rather forlorn look about him which made Hermione's secret joy short lived. Harry looking forlorn wasn't, of course, all together unusual, but still. He just seemed to Hermione a tad more melancholy than usual.
"Why don't you sit down? I was just studying for the NEWTs. I'll help you if you want. Er, is everything okay?" She tried to ask this as casually as possible while shuffling around some of the books on the table.
