My sister has been living in Australia for the past year or so, and she's told me some stories.... but this comic is the closest I've ever felt to being there. It feels like a hot summer, you know? The backgrounds & interactions in this comic are very natural & evocative.

incidentally, my brothers house is fine. Mostly damage from ash and smoke and some dried out branches.
