I mentioned this to kiyomori when he visited last weekend (retrospective/retroactive huzzah!) but Time/Life and Google combined their considerably heavy weights recently to open up the Life photo archive to the masses

Shoot--well, I was going to keep it a surprise, but I've received official notification that I'm going to be the next Archivist of the United States! B-san asked me to keep it quiet until the inauguration.
