so the last couple days have been pretty crazy. I have so much work! so much to do....but I love it. I had a wonderful birthday - went out to lunch with jackie and got our nails done. I feel like my brain has been restarted and is like 50 thousand times faster. psyched for the new year.

So, since I'm going to be in Massachusetts next weekend, my family is throwing a small family friend party for my birthday before I leave. As irony would have it, the family friends' kids who are my age have already gone to berkeley to start school, so I'll be spending the evening watching episodes of frasier and working on reading or whatever else ( Read more... )

So here I am...starting a new set of jewelry. I'm trying to focus on organic forms...specifically flowers for the most part, which may or not become more abstract as I go..but right now I look very strange because I'm looking obsessively at pictures of like...water, and flowers. I'm bored. My head is empty. I'm so bored I can't even work up the will to do math. Which is pretty bored. Maybe I'll go to the library tommorow or something...or is it closed. ugh. so. bored. and yea, I've been home a grand total of 3 days.

weird. so, in mexico. going home today... it was really fun here. the beach is really pretty and somehow the humidity is soothing. its like being in a pool and just letting the water wash over you. were going home in a few hours, which is sort of exciting as well. yes. see above. I'M HOME. and have been for a couple days. but the shininess hasn't really worn off yet.
