She usually carries her two fon-tech handguns behind her back, but she can whip them out whenever she wants to use them. [Taken from Aselia wiki cos I am too damn lazy :|]

[Background]
First, it should be established that Legretta is one of the Six God-Generals that assists Van in realizing his ideals. She is his closest assistant and follows him and his orders to the T if possible.
Legretta first makes her appearance when the God-Generals try to take over the Tartarus and take Ion with them. Things were looking good for them (bad for the main cast), until the Amazing Guy appears to help save the day. Jade took the chance to hold Arietta hostage and Legretta is forced to back inside.
She continues to work with the other God-Generals in trying to detain Ion, appearing in several places throughout the main game. Her next major appearance is while the group is traveling through the Dao Pass. She fires a few warning shots from her guns and specifically confronts Tear, asking her why she is following them when she should be joining Van’s group to try and change the world. It is through this interaction and the following battle (that Legretta wins) that they learn a little about Van’s plans as well as provoke Jade. She hints at Luke’s real nature which causes a bit of angsting from Luke because no one will tell him anything. She then departs.
She is then later seen conversing with Mohs in Daath, and the group overhears the two. The group then confirms that the two are planning to start a war and things become dire indeed.
Her next major scene is in Sheridan, where she once again confronts the group. She and the Oracle Knights are trying to stop them from heading to the Tartarus where the group plans to head to the core. Scuffles ensue, and sadness happens as the old folks die. It is here that we see Legretta show her cold personality, telling them that what occurred happened because civilians meddled where they didn’t belong. However, she also seems to carry a bit of regret in the process.
Again she confronts the group in Meggiora Highlands, and again shouting out to Tear to join her and Van in their efforts. She also lets slip that Van has found the Seventh Fonstone and once again disappears.
Next major thing for Legretta is in Mt. Roneal. It had been hinted earlier by her to the group in the Ortion Cavern that they would meet there, and so they do. More of “Tear, come join us!” and then they battle to finally settle the matters. However, after the battle the ground shakes and the avalanche occurs. The group manages to survive but what happened to the God-Generals is unknown to them until later. AND THIS IS WHERE LEGRETTA WILL BE COMING FROM.
Now. For the actual real history about Legretta that we only get from one sidequest.
Legretta leaves a letter behind for Tear. It entails on her motives and why she joined Van as well as why she personally trained Tear. Basically, Legretta originally hated Van because it was his fault that her brother died. She blamed Van who had followed the score and sent her brother to the Battle of Chesedonia even though it was obvious the group would die. In her attempt to kill Van, she was defeated and was instead given the proposal for her to stay by his side. When questioned, Van just said he wanted to see if his life could defeat the Score.
So she agreed and became his adjunct, waiting for her chance to kill him. She even trained Tear so that she could use her to kill him. However, over time she had learned of Van’s past and it “resonated” with her. She decided to part with her former self. She knew Tear trusted her and it was obvious that Legretta did care for Tear. In the end of the letter, she tells Tear to not follow her but for Tear’s own ideals.
Her real name is then given: Giselle Oslo.
[Personality]
Legretta is a very dedicated woman, particularly when it comes to anything related to Van and making sure his ideals become realized. She keeps up a stoic, firm front, and has a strong mind. She is also smart and cunning, which makes her perfect for being Van’s strategist. She is also forceful and will speak her mind or oppose if necessary (except if it’s for Van. She is less likely to go against him unless she really does think something is questionable). In short, Legretta is everything a military soldier and commander should be. She will be quick to assess the situation and make the commands when needed.
However, she does care about people she is close to, particularly Van and Tear. In her past she may have been a bit more reckless or more emotional, but now she has a bit more control of her emotions. And while she can be cold, she is not completely without feelings for sympathy or regret. However, she will move forward and do what is needed to accomplish her and/or Van’s goals. If that requires for the loss of life, so be it.
She is also not above provocation or calling people names if applicable. And by names, more like degrading terms like “Reject” for Luke, and calling Jade “Necromancer” with some spite. She calls them as she sees it. But really, the stress here isn’t that she just name calls people. But she will regard her enemies and others as people beneath her and fools for following the way of the Score. I think the names would just really affect the Abyss people, though. They’re more like titles than anything else really.
[Specialties/Abilities]
Other than her wit and brains, Legretta wields twin pistols. They don’t fire real bullets. Instead, they’re fonic bullets, meaning bursts of fonons are expelled but have the same affects as those to real bullets. She is also capable of performing other artes, including a water spell. Most of her artes are light based and involve lots of lasers.
She is also rather agile and thus makes her fast and can dodge things quite easily, as well as having high physical defense. She can also wield other weapons, including the staff/spear and daggers as she did teach Tear how to fight with them in combat. She is also adept at hand to hand combat.
She is resistant to light based fonic artes and strike artes, with her element being light. Legretta can also perform a Mystic Arte where she pretty much shoots everything oblivion.
It should be noted that she does not need an FoF change to pull off her Arcane Artes. Meaning, she can dish out her more powerful attacks whenever she wants unlike the other Tales characters.
[Affection] The mun says go for anything, but just a warning that she'll probably pull the cold shoulder and/or shoot or threaten to shoot anyone who gets to fresh with her.
[Fighting] Go for it :O But she will definitely prove to be a worthy opponent.
[Other Facts] Seriously, say anything against Van and she will not be happy.
