It's great that you wanted to hang out with your friend, but it would be good to tak into consideration that your friend might have had plans and had said friend been forewarned about the day of hangoutness she would have readily jumped at the opportunity. You're a great person (snickers) so anybody would want to hang out. (with you) I hope you didn't wait until the morning you wanted to hang out to call about meeting up, just assuming that your friend doesn't have a life of her own and was just waiting around for you to call.

Good luck on the house thing and at your age you shouldnt have to worry about acting a fool (or trick-or-treating)
