This was really good. You managed the creepy feeling well. There just isn't enough good Kisuke fic, but I've got one more to add to my list now.

Only complaint... it's too short.

Well, thank you so much for the compliment! It's kind of strange because I just decided randomly before bed that I should write a Halloween fic, and this is what happened.

And yeah, it's kind of short, but the entire scene formed in my head in one burst and I thought it would make things worse if I tried dragging it out.

Thank you! It's always hard for me to tell whether or not I've gotten the impression I wanted across to my readers, because by the time I've posted something, I've edited it to kingdom come and it screws with my perceptions.

This is why I don't really edit my stories beyond spellcheck, mostly because if I mess with it too much it loses my original intent.
