I actually don't remember the part where we went to the restaurant. My bulb likely have a shorter flash... I do remember we had to go pick up Paul because he had called in sick to work that day.
Anyway, good post though! To take something from the experience and develop it into something bigger rather then just having the experience itself.
I recall where I was on 9/11 and in January 1986 with similar clarity. I shan't be posting it, as it hardly matters, now.
It's over, insofar as it can be, and we need to get on with our lives, as best we can, despite the drag we may feel. If not, we stop living and just exist, and that's no way to live.
