It's been a while and a lot has happened so I guess I should write about it. My last day at NBC was August 11th. Thank you to everyone to wrote conciliatory comments. I didn't respond because it wasn't actually a bad thing but I couldn't talk about it yet. More on that in a moment

Most of them are on Denise's digital camera so I have to wait for her to download them. The rest are on a waterproof disposable camera I bought that I haven't had a chance to have developed yet (but most of those are probably just photos I tried to take of myself underwater). I'll try to post some this weekend. I might scan some prints we got while there too so you can see me and my massively sunburned arms playing with a dolphin.

The job is at (don't laugh) the Lifetime Network. I'm their east coast editor for their broadband internet site. So I went from working at the womens network to the rape network (that might not make sense if you don't get US cable all the way out in your neck of the world).

Yeah, no clues what the Lifetime Network is...I thought I knew the name from US jokes where they talk about made-for-TV movies where a mother battles cancer whilst bringing up her seventeen children?

Yeah, and her 17 year old daughter has been raped by the neighbor who's so charming no one believes he did it.
