I knew that the bad weather drifting across the plains states was going to hit us last night. Still, it was a surprising view out my front window this morning. Keep in mind that it was 70 degrees outside just a few days ago.
Aww, Erik and Ivy look adorable. A peapod is rather appropos for her name, but I can't help but think this is gonna be something to bring out to blackmail her in her teen years. :)
Aww, that's what I wanted: a pumpkin. I even went to the pumpkin farm and everything. Ivy looks like a super chill baby or is it just strategic photo ops in between fits of screaming?
Except for the last two days, she's usually like that.
But lately she's been learning to crawl (she makes manly Hulk-like sounds of rage when she gets frustrated), and I think she's also teething at the moment (another new thing in the last few days - which has led to shrieking and hysteria). Normally she's pretty laid back though, and I've been really lucky about that.
I remember when my little brother was a pea podnivenusNovember 13 2008, 01:49:35 UTC
My youngest anyway, who's six years my junior. Even I don't have good enough recall to remember my other brother's pea pod stage (he's two years younger, roughly), let alone my own. I must say... I can see the appeal. Simple, little hastle, and pretty cute.
As for weather... ahh, it's my favorite type down here in Oregon. Rain, rain, rain, with a little bit more of some rain. Hell, so far it's raining more than it did last year - which is fine with me. I'm not sure why I love rain so much, since I'm given to understand I'm supposed to loathe such natural showers, but love it I do.
We'll see if we get some snow. I expect we will get some but not very much - maybe about an inch or two. The Pacific Coast isn't exactly known for its blizards.
