I was just wondering why almost all US American universities have animals they are classed with, whereas that's not the case in Europe.I guess thats because universities in the US depend more on private fundings and stuff than on state subsidies, so that they are bound to establish a strong emotional bond between the university, which is basically nothing else than an educational establishment, and the students.
