Ladies, gentlemen... here is my contribution (feeble though it be) to the wonderful world of this community.

Is there something in your world that would inspire you to pick up a new skill?
For example, I would learn to sing just so I could sing 'Oceano.' (My voice isn't high enough to learn, say, anything by Sigur Ros.)

I know what you mean about singing. I love to sing but I'm just not really good at it. I wish I could at least sing along to songs by say, Kelly Clarkson, without having to try and sing it really low so my voice doesn't crack or just give out completely.

As for my personal "wish," umm.. I wish I was a wizard so I'd have been invited to Hogwarts at age eleven.

Everytime I hear a different language, or read it, or think about it... I just want to be completely fluent. At LEAST trilingual if not more. It would be so cool! And I agree with Brad, I wish I could sing along to Kelly Clarkson WELL. I can sing, but I have a naturally lower pitched voice. So Kelly Clarkson is a no go. Dammmmnnn.

I totally know what you mean. When I think about my heritage... I'm like... well, I'm Welsh so I should learn Celtic. And I'm Italian so I should know Italian. And I want to be totally fluent in Yiddish and Hebrew so I could go to Israel and carry on a conversation.
