Apparently, Claire Danes is going to play the star.

i don't know how i feel about that: hand one, i loathe the leo-claire romeo-juliet, but hand two, my mom's watched a lot of her other movies and she's never bothered me much in passing, and she does seem like she could play the star. (i love that pun more than any i've encountered in a long time.)

will they have accents, i wonder?

imdb says the director did lock, stock, and two smoking barrels as well as snatch. great movies, in my opinion, but so different a kind of movie that it's impossible to predict how this one'll be. and, i never know how much a hand the producer has in things versus the director/writers. although, he seems to have written the screenplay as well.

i enjoy the imdb.

fingers crossed they nobody messes this up.

Apparently Jack Nicholson and Michelle Pfeiffer (sp?) are attached to the project as well. Wait, was it Jack? I don't remember exactly. You can see the proposed cast in the IMDB forums.
