the wallet question is not one i can answer in the format of yes/no. it would depend on how much cash and if the person seemed like a nice person from her/his photo.
if there were receipts from sex shops or a membership card to a hunting or country club, or some indication that it were a lawyer, i'd pretty much pocket the cash without a second thought. if it's a middle aged woman with a ton of kids photos and a shopping list, i probably would seek to return it.
I would give the money back, regardless of how much I needed it, because I would know how annoyed I would be if I got my wallet back sans money.
The cheating one was tough. In one sense, I don't like to be received as a meddler. In another sense, I'd be pissed as hell. I don't think I'd tell my friend right off the bat, but I would talk to the boyfriend or girlfriend and get their shit together first. I think trying to be proactive and helping to solve the problem is a lot more effective than being a tattletale and basically leaving my friend to do whatever when he/she is sad and hurt and angry. No one makes good decisions under those circumstances.
Most of them were pretty clear for me, but the last one was hard to decide because I really think it depends on the situation. Also, it depends on how well you can justify it.
