so have you ever gotten involved with something by accident? you lied to yourself saying it was just a joke until you realized it wasn't to anyone else. & then you dug your hole deeper by pretending...thinking you could find a way out until one day became 2 and 2 became 7. and you realize the only way out is to hurt someone along the way

assuming its said boy from work and such, then id assume a good way out would be to simply tell him hes an awesome guy but you're jsut not over your last relationship and you cant give him what he needs and you dont want to hurt him by trying so you cant date anymore. or some similar bullshit but believable story that makes him feel like you're doing him a favor by ending it rather than crushing him

yeah that's probably my best bet. i was thinking of using the excuse that i have wayyy too much to do & i'm stressed out as it is & i'll be moving back to PA in 2 months anyway. or someething. which is totally true & not a lie at all.
