This debate centers around modeling. I know many of you lovely people do modeling of your own, so I thought it would be an interesting subject for our community to discuss. I think it's a stupid idea. The western world, and in particular the US, loves to blame their problems on something external to themselves. Thin people don't cause anorexia & eating disorders, low self-esteem and issues with control do. You can show a person who doesn't exhibit these affectations pictures of emaciated models till the cows come home, but invariably they won't "contract" anorexia.

In any case, if you get rid of the underweight models, what next? Underweight actresses, singers, performes, ballet dancers and gymnasts? Gid of them too? It's just silly, IMO.
