Today has been exciting. First, we got an offer on the house that we have accepted (tentatively and conditioned upon a few minor details). Now we can finally move into a house that has a kitchen with an island, a real back yard, and a stand up shower - all signs of a nicer house

Congrats! On the house AND the puppies. Be careful about the puppies. It's very easy to become abnormally attached to them. After our dogs had puppies, I became hysterical every time someone took one of them away.
