Usually, Broadway tickets are only on sale for a few months in advance. December tickets will probably go on sale sometime around September. Probably if someone went and LG wasn't in it that day, it was because she was sick or something like that.
I don't know how long LG's contract is for Guys and Dolls, but isn't she in a mid-season TV series next year? I'm sure if you do some research, you can find an interview with her or something somewhere which says when her contract ends.
Also, just to add my two cents: don't waste your money. I saw the show, and while it's slightly thrilling to see LG on stage, it's definitely not the greatest musical of all time or anything even close to that. I bet she'll do more theater in her lifetime, so there will be other opportunities to see her.
Yeah, she has a sitcom in the works, that's why I thought I'd ask, because I remembered it. But yeah, it's october :/
Problem with waiting for another opportunity is that I know that I can go this year, but I don't know if I'll be able to go another time :) A friend of mine is going, and I wasn't even considering going with him to NY, but then he showed me a link saying Lauren would be doing the play, so everything changed!
I doubt very much that Lauren will still be with the show in December. She has a new sit-com going into production that is scheduled for air in January.
Yeah, I remembered that, that's why lots of questions flew by my head. But yeah, she's only in the play till october :/ Guess I have to remake some plans.
Unfortunately, the other peeps are right. Lauren's contract with the show is only until October, and if her pilot gets picked up, there's zero chance she'll be staying on.
Yeah, this changes the whole scenario. Sole reason of this trip is seeing her, after all. Guess September is a good option, now, but in December I was going with a bunch of friends :/
I think I might be going in August. I was going to split my vacation between July and December, because I have to visit family in July. Now I don't see the point in doing it anymore, I might as well just take my 30 days off at once.
Will you be there to hang with in August as well? :)
