I said this on twitter, but it warrants being said again. I ♥ you for this. Seeing this on my friends page this afternoon made my day.

As for something good that's happened lately; it hasn't happened quite yet, but I'm so excited to go to California next week. I haven't been on a vacation in five years and for a group of my new friends to spontaneously invite me like this seriously touched me. I can't believe I've only known them for two months now. I'm also really excited to go to the beach again ♥

In a more general sense, I'm on total cloud nine from the World Cup. I've been looking forward to this since the last one ended four years ago.

I've always been an east coast girl at heart (even though I've only ever lived in Illinois since my family moved to the US) so from now on I'm only getting farther away, haha. But I hope so too! I have a lot of friends moving out west that I'd like to visit soon. ♥
