(no subject)
So, after being intensely inspired by this post on Craftster, I decided I'd like to create my own (less insane) version.

The two ends shown on the left and right here will be sew together to create the skirt. I don't have a 40" waist, but I will be putting in a draw string (or elastic if I make it over winter break, I may be able to talk Sara's mom into showing me how to do it :>)
Now I've just gotta dig around for various materials to do this with. I'll probably have patterned material which will make it easier to use scrap fabric and use old shirts and skirts at Goodwill. I've been holding onto a bright green patterned skirt as fabric for a 'special' project, and I guess I found it :>
