This is my top ten list for scifiland. I decided to do top ten ships and to do them in alphabetical order. :D I was going to do meta as well, but I think I'll just leave this as is, lol.

I'm convinced River/Jayne is canon. Like, really. They would've been the Xander/Anya of Firefly, the not-planned-but-happy-accident ship (that knowing Joss would've ended tragically....)

Someday when my dreams come true and I have lunch with Joss Whedon, I'll ask him what he thinks of River/Jayne.

I think had Firefly gone on the we think of now as canon couples would just be something in the past.

I'm not sure if you'll ship them. I only started shipping them in season 2.
