i voted yes, because .. well, yayyy!!

one thing i've noticed about SG fandom is that it's hard to get into (for me). i mean, it's been around foreverrrr, and, i'm a newish fan and i have a hard time wiggling my way into groups that are already existing and such. i'd love the idea of relaxed stargate social comm for us newer fans who are still discovering the joy of stargate!! i find a lot of people have loved stargate and then moved on because they were in the fandom 5 years ago or something.

so - yay/woo/hooray!

definitely need the incentive and cheering to rewatch SGA. Not that I mean I really need it, it would just be fun to do, if I did decide to rewatch it.

as someone who nearly *always* comes into fandoms late, this is kind of a great idea! if I continue watching all the Stargates, I'd definitely join. a nice way to squee and chat about stuff as if it's all new!
