so the beginning of july see Jet. tour manager guy gives carisa and i passes. meet jet. get my free jet poster signed. get invited to skully's (great bar/venue here) to hang out. hang out. the roadies were way more interesting and had great british accents. the sign*offs come to columbus. see them. party. go to house of heroes and the-pits show @ skullys. meet up with andy. finally meet tim. meet jack. his dad teaches bass. score. meet drew at hounddogs. he's intrigued by my handshake. go to mewithoutyou with andy. everyone assumes we're dating. funny. talk to tim. take petrie to his first vet visit. 2 pound kitten. ladies 80's @ skully's. fun. brandon's bday. wish him well. kill hannah in indianapolis with carisa. mad crazy fun time. kill hannah at skully's. drunkenness ensues. fun. pictures pictures pictures.
august -- ours at little brother's. FUCKING AMAZING. curiosa in cincy. miss muse. boo. see thursday. rocked. drummer = hot. the cure = rad. got to hear my favorite as we were leaving in the encore. curiosa in cleveland. meet up with jb or john or whatever you would like to call him. see thursday. hot drummer. see muse. amazing as always. the cure = not as good as the night before. last time seeing john before he moved to l.a. said our goodbyes. strhessfest with andy. fucking rocked it. murder by death. love them now. saw tim long. was wasted. me = sober. got to go side stage for thursday. met tucker (hot drummer). talked to him for a good while 'til andy was ready to leave. tucker wrote me a note on my wristband and proceeded to ask for my number. did i mention he's hot? =P great day but i didn't get to get the zip-up i wanted b/c it sold out. moved into a sweet apt with my cousin, jamie. chicago for (a+) machines. it was good to see alan, matt and greg and meet chris and ryan. stayed at courtnay's. hung out the next day and walked around downtown chicago. got some great pictures. walked around the chicago art institute with greg. such a cool place. head back to columbus to catch my 6am flight home. go home. petrie comes with me. good to see my mom. attend a baby shower for a friend from highschool. off to austin the next day. meet up with scott. good to see him, as always. we hit up 6th his friend who's name escapes me. meet up with andyrea and her roomie at cheers. rachel, mark, leslie and their friend meet us there. we all then proceed to go to (i forget) but TABC was there so we go to buffalo billiards, and then (i forget) and then apparently back to cheers. ha. met up with (a+) girls in there somewhere also. apparently walked by a dead guy on the way to the car. scott and i drunken talked until who knows what time. woke up late and floated the river with rachel, mark and leslie. scott, (his friend) and i see the latest exorcist movie. caucus monday night. greg and andyrea are headed out but not before greg gives me a blown up print of my favorite picture of his (from his portfolio). justin sings with joseph. catch up with alan, tonya and lynn. see joe g. always a delight. head back home the next day.
september -- mom's bday. drive to corpus. pick mom up. head to blue show. rained all day so now it's acoustic. joey and matt from iSOLA already played. jay quinn was on. good to see everyone. got my mom a nice seat behind the band. she felt great and special with her "special" treatment. it was a good birthday for her. met joey and matt (of iSOLA). back to houston the next day. blue show that night. great to see all my friends. saw iSOLA for the first time. dug it. blue rocked it, of course. met reese and shane of iSOLA. rode to austin with lauren, chrissy and the chad. get to our destination at like 6am. next day, andyrea and greg pick me up to head to san antonio for the (a+) show. good times had by all. stayed up late playin' drinkin' games. hung out in san antonio waiting for the blue show there that night. say 'hi' to everyone during soundcheck. get ready. back to the show. say 'hi' to mom. enjoy the show. jager shots with reese. everyone comes back to our hotel room. alan entertains. back to h-town the next day. was supposed to fly back monday. decided to stay. head to caucus in austin. ryan played violin with joseph this time. back to houston. off to denton with lauren to see blue. sofunsofun. iSOLA, jay quinn, blue. hangin' out at will's apt. good times. ha. back to houston. alski gets a hair cut. blue in dallas with lauren. firewater = awesome venue. more fun. san marcos with lauren to hang out. back to houston. more hanging out. fly back. =( in the new apt for only the 2nd full night. a day later leave for seattle. farm aid '04 baby. meet up with ben. find the girls. farm aid. awesome time. i love my aims. girls leave. =( ben and i play. seattle is beautiful. lots of pictures. have to come back to ohio. boo. classes start. leo acoustic set at andyman's. brandon has lost a LOT of weight. daniel left the band. brandon doesn't want to introduce me to his school teacher girlfriend. good to see him though. he's headed to st. louis soon. blue here in columbus. i got them in the big room at CD101!! show was awesome. socialburn rocks it. hanging out = fun. missed the agora show but got to hang out anyway. my cousin's had fun. =)
october -- carisa and i head to chicago. meet up with chrissy and jared. shop. blue show. SO FUN. LAUREN ON A STICK!!! hahahahaha. end up staying till monday morning. what a weekend! so so so fun. back to reality. buckeye football. the killers at the newport with carisa, jaycie and reilly. awesome show. hang out with jack and drew afterwards. interview at pf changs. get the job! do erica's hair for her boyfriend's homecoming. she loves it. whew. start pf changs! yay! go home for the last blue shows of the tour before they go into the studio. houston show was soooo good. sooo emotional. lauren, chrissy and i hung with piper in the hotel and played girly games. yay. (a+) in houston the next night. see andyrea. all go back to rachel and jason's. shotgunnin' beers. fun stuff. head to gene's. taco c early in the mornin'. the last show in austin. SO many people there. it was so good to see everyone, though i wished i could have hung out with everyone more. party at scotty barnes'.
